Plank Position: Participants must maintain a proper plank position: Forearms must be on the ground, with elbows directly under the shoulders. The body must be in a straight line from head to heels. Feet may be together or slightly apart, but the toes must remain on the ground.
Form Check: Judges will monitor participants to ensure they maintain proper form. Any significant deviations will lead to disqualification.
Time Limits: Participants must hold the plank position for a minimum of 10 seconds to qualify for timing.
Conduct: Participants are expected to maintain sportsmanship and respect toward others. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
In the event of any disputes that may arise during the competition, the decision made by the organizers will be final and binding.
Participants found under the influence of cigarettes, alcohol, or narcotics, or using unfair means, regardless of the event they are participating in or the institution they represent, will be prohibited from participating and asked to leave the premises of the organizing institute.
Once registered for an event, under no circumstances the registration fees shall be refunded to the participants in case of absence/ disqualification.
Judging Criteria
Hold Duration: The primary criterion for winning is the total time held in the plank position. The participant with the longest time wins.
Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie, a sudden-death plank round may be held, where participants will compete again to determine the winner.
