Participants compose original essays on a given topic, showcasing their writing skills, creativity, and critical thinking abilities. Participants must register in advance as individuals. Each participant will be assigned a specific time slot for the essay writing. A specific essay topic will be announced at the start of the event. Participants will have time to prepare and plan their essays. Each participant will have a set time (e.g., 1-2 hours) to write their essay. Essays must be handwritten or typed, depending on the event setup. Completed essays must be submitted by the end of the allotted time for evaluation.

Rules
Originality: All essays must be original works. Plagiarized essays will result in disqualification.
Length: Essays must adhere to a specified word limit (e.g., 500-1000 words). Participants should ensure their essays fall within this limit.
Formatting: Participants may be required to follow specific formatting guidelines (e.g., font type, size, spacing). These guidelines will be provided at the start of the event.
Conduct: Participants are expected to maintain professionalism and respect toward others during the writing period. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
In the event of any disputes that may arise during the competition, the decision made by the organizers will be final and binding.
Participants found under the influence of cigarettes, alcohol, or narcotics, or using unfair means, regardless of the event they are participating in or the institution they represent, will be prohibited from participating and asked to leave the premises of the organizing institute.
Once registered for an event, under no circumstances the registration fees shall be refunded to the participants in case of absence/ disqualification.
Judging Criteria
Content (40%): Relevance to the topic, depth of analysis, and clarity of argument.
Structure (30%): Organization, coherence, and flow of ideas within the essay.
Language (20%): Use of grammar, vocabulary, and overall writing style.
Creativity (10%): Originality of thought and creativity in presentation.
A panel of judges with expertise in writing and literature will evaluate the essays based on the scoring criteria.
