Each match will consist of two halves of 10 minutes each.
No substitutions are allowed during the game.
Unsportsmanlike behavior will lead to direct disqualification.
Game Play: The game starts with a coin toss to determine which team will have the first possession. After each made basket, the scoring team must take the ball out of bounds to restart play.
Fouls: Personal fouls will be called for any illegal physical contact. Teams will receive free throws after the 5th team foul in a game. Technical fouls may be called for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Timeouts: Each team is allowed one timeout per game, lasting up to 30 seconds.
Conduct: Teams are expected to maintain sportsmanship and respect towards opponents and officials. Disruptive behavior will lead to disqualification.
The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
In the event of any disputes that may arise during the competition, the decision made by the organizers will be final and binding.
Participants found under the influence of cigarettes, alcohol, or narcotics, or using unfair means, regardless of the event they are participating in or the institution they represent, will be prohibited from participating and asked to leave the premises of the organizing institute.
Once registered for an event, under no circumstances the registration fees shall be refunded to the participants in case of absence/ disqualification.
Judging Criteria
The winning team will be determined by points scored.
Game Wins: The primary criterion for advancing in the tournament is the number of games won.
Performance Evaluation: While there are no formal scoring criteria beyond game wins, judges may observe the overall teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the event.
Elimination Criteria
Knockout rounds will be held until a final winner emerges.
Match Format: The tournament will be conducted in a knockout format, with each match played to a specified number of points (e.g., 15 points) or until the time limit is reached (e.g., 10 minutes). Each game will use half-court play.
Warm-Up: Teams will be given a brief warm-up period before their matches.
Scoring: Points will be awarded based on field goals, with 1 point for shots made inside the arc and 2 points for shots made beyond the arc.
