The Analysis Arena (Case Study Competition)
Participants analyze a provided case study, develop solutions or recommendations, and present their findings to a panel of judges. Participants must register in advance as individuals or in teams (up to 4 members per team). A case study will be distributed to participants at the start of the event. Participants will have a set time (e.g., 2-3 hours) to analyze the case and prepare their presentations. Each team will present their findings and recommendations to the judges in a specified time (e.g., 10 minutes), followed by a Q&A session (e.g., 5 minutes). Judges will evaluate presentations based on set criteria, and winners will be announced at the end.

Rules
  • Case Study Focus: The case study will focus on a specific industry or issue. Participants should tailor their analysis and recommendations accordingly.
  • Presentation Materials: Teams may use slides or visual aids during their presentations. These materials must be submitted in advance for review.
  • Time Management: Teams must adhere to the allotted time for both presentations and Q&A. Judges will signal when time is nearly up.
  • Conduct: Participants are expected to maintain professionalism and respect during presentations and Q&A sessions. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
  • In the event of any disputes that may arise during the competition, the decision made by the organizers will be final and binding.
  • Participants found under the influence of cigarettes, alcohol, or narcotics, or using unfair means, regardless of the event they are participating in or the institution they represent, will be prohibited from participating and asked to leave the premises of the organizing institute.
  • Once registered for an event, under no circumstances the registration fees shall be refunded to the participants in case of absence/ disqualification.
Judging Criteria
  • Analysis (40%): Depth and clarity of the analysis presented, including identification of key issues and insights.
  • Solutions (30%): Practicality and creativity of the proposed solutions or recommendations.
  • Presentation (20%): Clarity, engagement, and professionalism in delivery, including use of visual aids.
  • Q&A Performance (10%): Ability to answer questions effectively and demonstrate a deep understanding of the case.
  • A panel of judges with expertise in business analysis and the relevant industry will evaluate the presentations based on the scoring criteria.
